Applicant Tracking System

Nowadays, Applicant tracking system has become a necessity more than just a luxury. Companies across all sizes are considering the usage of ATS as crucial to their success. The usage of technology in recruitment is no longer limited to large firms but also small businesses are implementing it as it helps those making smarter choices when it comes to recruiting the right people, which is vital for any organization’s success, it helps them save a lot of time trying to scan and filter each and every resume, and it helps them communicating better with candidates, which makes the company look more professional and gain a better reputation.

CEM Applicant Portal comprehensively changed the recruitment business procedures and automation by increasing the overall performance. Using CEM Applicant Portal will help any company to create a dynamic recruitment workflow that is totally customizable. It provides a seamless integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX that allows HR managers to create and customize reports, to select candidates, to use advanced filter options and advanced search options, to broadcast jobs and to update the recruitment project statuses as well as the applicant statuses.

Let’s start by examining how CEM Applicant Portal functions:
1- “Settings” is where the HR manager goes to customize AP according to his needs. In settings, the HR manager can:
a- Choose the applicant profile score settings, which is the score that the system will use to match and rate applicants and other resumes in the database in regards to a job.

b- Easily customize the look and feel of AP by uploading the company’s logo, choosing the theme and the colors to make the look and feel of the portal coherent with the company’s identity.

c- Design and personalize the “applicant profile” section

2- Applied Jobs: In this section, all the open recruitment projects are listed to give a quick idea for the HR manager regarding the recruitment activities happening at this moment. It also shows other details such as location of the job, how many years of experience are needed and when the job was posted. These additional details are totally customizable by the HR manager. He can chose what information he would like to see on this page. Below is an example of “applied jobs” page

3- Admission Manager: This is the section where the recruiter can check his recruitment project to see how many applicants have applied, to see how these applicants rate based on the skills needed in the job advertised. The recruiter can view the profile, download the resume, as well as approve the applicant. Once the applicant has been approved, his resume will move to AX where further action to be taken.
In addition to reviewing applicants, the system provides the recruiter with hot matches of non-applied candidates, those candidates have maybe applied to other jobs and were not hired, but are still in the data base, so the system will even suggest candidates who didn’t apply for a certain job if they qualify.

4- Reports: In addition to all the features mentioned above, AP allows recruiters to customize and generate reports according to their needs. The reports are generated based on a certain job and on a certain period date.
The below report is an example of the “Job and applicant report” where recruiters can see how many applicants they received for a specific recruitment project over a certain period of time. The numbers are broken down by gender and people with disability as well. This information helps in generating EEO-1 reports and other compliance reports.
These reports can be exported in PDF, excel and CSV formula to make it even more convenient.

Briefly, CEM Applicant Portal covers the recruitment process in totality from creation of a job, position, initiating recruitment process, hosting of the jobs in the portal, registration of candidates, job search by candidates, submission of applications, scheduling interviews, and selection of candidates as employees. These features significantly reduce recruitment costs and talent acquisition time as well as provide qualitative hiring, seamless profile management and effortless administration.
